It's been 3 weeks since I lost the bear. It's one of my favourite. And I remembered mum telling me there was a door-to-door sale on 24 March. Someone selling bears, and it's Cerisi bears! Omg, it's so coincidental, I know. (Mum said he knocked the gate like he was gonna break it!) But dad ignored him, as usual, saying we don't need bears, just like how he shoo-ed the ice cream seller kids. I wasn't at home, so too bad. I could have bought the bear. Dad said he was carrying Cerisi bears with both hands, and I can imagine how cute they all looked.
Anyhoots, I think I sound pretty insane, but yeah, even my family wondered where the teddy had gone to. We could have thrown it absent-mindedly. Well well, it's not even alive. Waaa! As you can see below, I bought a shirt for Itchy, aka Ismail for ten bucks at Masjid Omar Kampong Melaka. (beside MOM building) Mum managed to squeeze him to wear the shirt. Nice right! Lol.

Let's talk about work now. Few things happened on 1st April. Firstly, I took half day that very day. I bet my colleagues thought I was kidding when I sms-ed them. Few hours after lunch time, I heard hoo-haas regarding someone who's about to commit suicide at the top of our building. True enough, when I looked out the window overlooking Havelock Road and People's Park, there were crowds everwhere. And they were all looking up, probably at the man who was just above me. (My office is located at the highest floor) He was sitting at the tip of the building btw. They were civil defence & police officers all around. And they finally bought the man down to our level, and some plenty curious souls were seen going in and out of office, going to the washroom, etc, wanting to see the man discreetly. (That includes me as well) Was thankful that he didnt jump eventually. I bet the officers talked some sense into the poor chap and they finally left our building. Talk about April fool. Some of us even thought he might hold up a big banner with 'April Fool' writen on it. Double Ha.
