So what happened in June? (and early part of July?)

First and foremost..

My contract was extended till Dec 09. With the 1 year experience, I was given an increment, and I’m all set to take up the offer. Although it’s up by only a few hundred, it’s still money. And the GST package adds more bucks to my bank a/c.

Father’s day was just like any other day. No celebration or whatever. Just dad sitting at home on a lazy Sunday, at his favourite corner in the living room, reading his books, and using his plucked-out moustache as bookmarks. (Dates’ seeds if it’s during the fasting month) Nyeheheh.

Met my secondary school classmate in the bus and got to know that he’s goin ntu engg course this year. He was from Ngee Ann, with GPA of 3.1. Not a merit holder, but definitely very lucky. He said others could get in too. The must haves:
2 years of working experience, and it should be related to your poly diploma course.
Well, it depends..

Met up with Hani on Tuesday after work at Tamp. (Despite the very impromptu arrangement) Was looking for a brown bag, Khaki-ish colour. Finally saw one at BHG, I think. But it's $89. Peng seh. I dun think I'm buying it. Maybe next time, maybe some other bags. Maybe next GSS.

Colleague’s last day tomorrow and they had a farewell lunch earlier in the afternoon. Didn’t go coz it's at Manhattan Fish Market, which does not have a halal cert, yet. Sobs. I heard the outlets in JB are eatable. Prolly cause they don’t serve wine. Yayah and I did buy him a little gift; a Thomas Smith pink tie. Hope he likes it.

A lady from LTA approached me while waiting for the train at D.Ghaut this morning. She wanted to do a survey on the effectiveness of the MRT stations at Dhoby Ghaut's purple Line, the ones with PCK's face all over the glass panels and the colourful arrows on the tiles. I gave her positive comments and told her they're all very effective. It somehow cracked me to see that mole-faced, curly-haired uncle-ish looking comedian cum S'pore Idol host. But the MRT song doesn't appeal to me, though.

And Rin, I can't believe I saw you at Yishun bus int. Hehehe.
